Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Provide support to end-users and address their queries and concerns. - Monitor and maintain the performance and stability of critical business systems. - Identify and analyze system issues, and implement appropriate solutions. - Document and maintain accurate records of support activities. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the testing and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BASIS Administration. -In-depth knowledge of SAP Architecture, including Message Server, Dispatcher, Kernels, and Profile Locations. -Proven experience with Linux operating systems. -Hands-on experience as an SAP HANA Administrator. -Proficient in using Lifecycle Management (LM) tools such as SUM, SWPM, SPAM, and SAINT. - Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues - Good To Have Skills: -Knowledge of SAP tools like Web Dispatcher and Cloud Connectors. -Familiarity with public cloud platforms and/or SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS). Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP BASIS Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
