Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Good to have skills : Oracle Exadata Database Machine, MySQL Database Administration

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. Your typical day will involve working on various aspects of Performance Engineering, including software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution. You will contribute to the improvement of application performance and ensure optimal system performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement - Develop and implement performance optimization strategies - Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify performance issues - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues - Conduct capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA), Oracle Exadata Database Machine, MySQL Database Administration - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI - Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms - Hands-on experience implementing various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms - Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA) - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - A 15 years full time education is required
