Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire application development process and ensuring its successful implementation. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members. Roles & Responsibilities: -Issue Analysis and Troubleshooting: -Data Interpretation: Analyze data collected by Cisco Thousand Eyes to identify network performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and anomalies. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with network engineers and system administrators. -Resolution: Provide timely resolutions to network-related issues. -Performance Optimization: -Recommendations: Suggest improvements based on Cisco Thousand Eyes insights to optimize network performance. Capacity Planning: Assist in capacity planning by monitoring trends and predicting resource requirements. Professional & Technical Skills: -Cisco Thousand Eyes Support and Integration Specialist Role Overview: The Cisco ThousandEyes Support and Integration Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective utilization of the Cisco ThousandEyes platform within an organization. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, onboard new monitoring, integrate with other tools, and analyze data collected by Cisco Thousand Eyes to optimize network performance and troubleshoot issues. Responsibilities: -Monitoring Onboarding: New Endpoint Setup: Configure and onboard new endpoints into the Cisco ThousandEyes platform. Monitoring Policies: Define monitoring policies, thresholds, and alerts for different endpoints. Data Collection: Ensure accurate data collection from monitored endpoints. Integration Management: Other Tool Integrations: Explore and implement integrations with other relevant tools (e.g., Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus etc.). -Issue Analysis and Troubleshooting: Data Interpretation: Analyze data collected by Cisco Thousand Eyes to identify network performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and anomalies. -Root Cause Analysis: Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with network engineers and system administrators. -Resolution: Provide timely resolutions to network-related issues. -Performance Optimization: Recommendations: Suggest improvements based on Cisco Thousand Eyes insights to optimize network performance. -Capacity Planning: Assist in capacity planning by monitoring trends and predicting resource requirements. Documentation and Training: -Knowledge Base: Create and maintain documentation related to Cisco Thousand Eyes usage, best practices, and troubleshooting guides. -Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for internal teams on using Cisco Thousand Eyes effectively. Additional Information: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Thousand Eyes. Networking Skills: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, etc.). Integration Expertise: Familiarity with integrating monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Helix). Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Thousand Eyes certification) are a plus.
