Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall to ensure the security of the organization's systems and data. You will collaborate with teams, make critical decisions, and provide solutions to security problems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Ensure the security of enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. - Design and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats. - Monitor and analyze security incidents and vulnerabilities. - Develop and maintain security policies and procedures. - Conduct security assessments and audits. - Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies. - Train and educate employees on security best practices. - Assist in incident response and recovery efforts. - Implement and manage security tools and technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns. - Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewall. - Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. - Experience in implementing and managing firewall technologies. - Knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems. - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). - Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and events. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall. - This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
