Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. Data transformation lead Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Design and develop high-quality software solutions. - Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Conduct unit testing and debugging of software applications. - Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Participate in agile development processes and ceremonies. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. - Document technical specifications and system design. - Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks and meet project deadlines. Professional & Technical Skills: Proficiency in Cloudera’s big data platform, including tools like Hadoop, Spark, HDFS, and Hive. Strong understanding of data processing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts. Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles. Hands-on experience with data integration and data warehousing solutions. Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data transformations, Strong SQL skills, design and build SQL complex queries Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Nice to have Banking domain knowledge Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
