Project Role Description : Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.

Must have skills: VMware vSphere Suite, VMWare Aria Suite, VMware Tanzu, Disaster Recovery Manager, Hyper-V, Windows Server OS Administration Good to have skills: Hardware Management (Cisco UCS, Dell etc), Hyperconverged Infrastructure (VXRail, Nutanix etc), good understanding of Physical Data Center, Storage, Backup, Network, Scripting, AD and DNS concepts. Roles and responsibility: (CL8 Required 8-10 years of experience) • Design, deploy, and manage VMware environments. • Implement and maintain VMware and Hyper-V infrastructures. • Configure and manage Windows Server environments. • Develop and execute migration strategies for virtualized environments. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware, Hyper-V, Converged & HCI and Windows environments. • Provide support for escalated issues from junior engineers and other IT teams. • Ensure virtualized environments meet security and compliance requirements. • Conduct regular security assessments and audits. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed. ? VMware: • Extensive experience with VMware vSphere Suite (vCenter and ESXi). • Proficiency in VMware Aria Suite, vSAN, Live recovery and Tanzu. • Strong understanding of VMware architecture and best practices. • Ability to automate the tasks via scripting and VMware Aria suite products or any other tools as required and should serve as automation POC. • Ability to propose Service Improvements and cost saving solutions. ? Hyper-V: • In-depth knowledge of Hyper-V configuration, management, and troubleshooting. • Experience with Hyper-V clustering and high availability. • Proficiency on Hyper-V Manager and Smart Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) ? Hardware Management: • In-Depth knowledge of Physical Hardware architecture and management. • Experience in Blade Chassis Models and Converged Infrastructure. • Experience in Firmware Management and Troubleshooting. ? Hyper-Converged Infrastructure: • Familiarity with hyper-converged infrastructure solutions such as Nutanix, VxRail and VMware vSAN. • Understanding of software-defined storage and networking. ? Windows Server OS Administration: • Ability to Fix any OS related Issue. • Develop and enforce patch management policies and schedules. • Expertise in Windows Server and failover cluster administration. ? Automation and Scripting: • Experience in PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline administrative processes. • Design and solutioning of Automation and Service Improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention. ? Performance Tuning and Optimization: • Propose best practices for server performance tuning and resource allocation. • Conduct regular performance assessments and recommend improvements Experience with Storage, Backup/Recovery solutions and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
