Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing technical support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of application performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by end-users. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve application-related incidents. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Contribute to the improvement of application performance and stability. - Document and maintain knowledge base articles for issue resolution. - Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving software issues. - Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies. - Knowledge of server hardware and operating systems. - Familiarity with networking and storage concepts. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration. - This position is based in Noida. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
