Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Provide support to end-users and ensure the smooth functioning of applications. - Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. - Document and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles. - Participate in the deployment and configuration of applications. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the implementation of best practices and process improvements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Shell Scripting, GitHub, Ansible on Microsoft Azure. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef. - Solid understanding of version control systems and code repositories. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
