Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the applications are designed to effectively support the organization's needs and objectives. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and designing innovative solutions to enhance application functionality and user experience. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements. - Design and develop applications that meet the defined requirements and align with the organization's standards and best practices. - Create technical specifications and documentation for the developed applications. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues in a timely manner. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance application design and development processes. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. - Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on the functionality and usage of the developed applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infor M3 Process Manufacturing & Distro. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and application design principles. - Experience in designing and developing applications using Infor M3 Process Manufacturing & Distro. - Knowledge of integration techniques and technologies to integrate applications with other systems. - Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java or C#. - Familiarity with database concepts and SQL. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with agile development methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Infor M3 Process Manufacturing & Distro. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
