Job Description

Project Role : Operations Engineer
Project Role Description : Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.
Must have skills : IBM WebSphere Application Server Application Deployment
Good to have skills : NA

Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. Your typical day will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of production systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide effective solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of production systems. - Implement and manage system upgrades and enhancements. - Develop and maintain documentation for operational processes and procedures. - Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support. - Continuously improve operational efficiency through automation and process enhancements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM WebSphere Application Server Application Deployment. - Strong understanding of application deployment processes and best practices. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving application deployment issues. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell or Python. - Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for application performance monitoring. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server Administration. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server Application Deployment. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
