Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using [PRIMARY SKILL]. - Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results. - Identify and report software defects and issues. - Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues. - Participate in test planning and strategy meetings. - Create and maintain test documentation. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing. - Assist in the continuous improvement of the testing process. - Train and mentor junior team members in automation testing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in [PRIMARY SKILL], Functional Test Planning. - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Experience with test automation frameworks and tools. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python. - Familiarity with version control systems and bug tracking tools. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines. - Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
