Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for production and development systems and software products. You will be responsible for configuring services on various platforms and implementing technology at the operating system-level. Your role will involve troubleshooting at both basic and intermediate levels. Roles & Responsibilities: • Should have strong OS administration skills on Linux • Hands on experience on Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration. (Version 5, 6 & 7). • Experience in Linux OS installation, Software and Patch management • Volume Manager Administration Network OS / SW installation • OS patching skills on Linux • Strong knowledge on Redhat, Ubuntu & Debian Linux operating systems • Should know how to debug/troubleshoot memory issues • Must have expertise on OS internals on Linux & Unix • Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels • Familiar with the configuration and maintenance of network hardware and peripherals • General System Administration expertise • Installation and configuration of Software • Knowledge on Memory management for better OS and application performances Professional & Technical Skills: • Should be an expert in Linux administration. Preference shall be given to candidates with the following skills: -Hands-on knowledge of RedHat. -Shell scripting -Cloud knowledge. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Red Hat OS Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
