Project Role Description : Translate client requirements into differentiated, deliverable solutions using in-depth knowledge of a technology, function, or platform. Collaborate with the Sales Pursuit and Delivery Teams to develop a winnable and deliverable solution that underpins the client value proposition and business case.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our Service Group as a Piping Engineering Discipline Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Piping Engineering Teams of 20 or more members, within the Service Group which provides engineering services for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors in the Oil & Gas industry. You will oversee the Piping deliverables timelines on projects. While also interfacing with our home office in Italy, where our clients reside. Your expertise in piping engineering abilities, and cross-cultural communication skills will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities: 1.Manage the Piping discipline team assigned to a Project. 2.Take responsibility for the deliverables assigned to the Piping discipline. 3.Oversee inter-discipline approvals for the Piping discipline. 4.Provide understanding for deliverables such as plot plans, equipment layout, piping layout, stress analysis, 3D models, and materials. 5. Work with project teams and technical leads to understand business requirements and design specifications. 6. Validate the accuracy and completeness of drawings and documents per client requirements and standards. 7. Liaise with the IT team and infrastructure to ensure deliverables are not hampered and collaborate with engineers to develop appropriate solutions to meet client and project requirements. 8. Develop technical specifications for specialty items. 9. Prepare site location maps showing connections to major pipelines, railways, roads, docks, jetties, electrical transmission lines, and waste effluent routes. 10. Manage documentation for equipment layout, 3D models, line routing, isometrics, P&ID, and line lists, and interact with Piping Accounting Engineers. 11. Coordinate and ensure the preparation of preliminary and final bulk requisitions for early ordering of MTO’s & MR’s 12. Coordinate and supervise the design of underground piping systems and prepare all necessary arrangement and detail drawings, including systems for cooling water, fire water, oily water sewers, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and chemical sewers. 13. Prepare block models and general arrangement drawings. 14. Perform work autonomously, under the guidance of the Lead Engineer. 15. Provide technical support during the construction phase, including resolving field issues and ensuring compliance with design. 16.Support commissioning and start-up activities, ensuring systems are tested and operational. 17. Responsible for designing the plant layout and piping for entire projects or parts of them. 18. Ensure the quality of assigned work, compliance with schedules, and coordination with other disciplines and the client. Qualification and skills: 1.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred 2. Experience can range from 9 to 12 years in core EPC work, leading piping discipline teams for design and detailed engineering, and managing discussions with clients and site engineers. 3. Experience in managing teams of 20 or more people. 4. Knowledge of piping materials, codes, and standards. 5. Proficiency in using piping engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Caesar II, and 3D modeling software (e.g., E3D , PDS, SmartPlant 3D). 6. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. 7. Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with the home office in Italy and build strong client relationships. 8.Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. 9.Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
