Project Role : Application Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills : IBM z/OS

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing support to end-users. Roles & Responsibilities: • Monitor critical batches & console alerts. • Report batch issues. Apply SOP to troubleshoot. • Perform IPL/HMC operations and system maintenances. • Handle system breakdowns - Emergency IPL, Dumps • Identify & report risks to SLAs and engage stakeholders • Monitor System performance Professional & Technical Skills: Expertise with batch scheduling tools - particularly in TWS tool. Good to have experience with other scheduling tools like CA-ESP, CA-7, or Control-M • Experience to work with Spool management tools, system monitoring and automation tools • Expertise & knowledge to perform IPL and knowledge of HMC operations • Experienced to support Production/LIVE environment in 24x7 support model Technical Competency • Problem-Solving Skills • Communication Skills Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in IBM z/OS. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
