Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the production planning and control process in SAP PP for process industries. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business needs, and designing efficient solutions to optimize production planning and control. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and gather requirements. - Design and develop applications to meet the production planning and control requirements in SAP PP for process industries. - Ensure the smooth functioning of the production planning and control process by identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks. - Optimize production planning and control processes by implementing best practices and efficient solutions. - Provide technical guidance and support to the development team in implementing the designed applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Process Industries. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP MM Material Management. - Strong understanding of production planning and control processes in SAP PP for process industries. - Experience in designing and developing applications in SAP PP for process industries. - Knowledge of integration points between SAP PP and other modules like MM, SD, and FI/CO. - Hands-on experience in configuring SAP PP master data, production orders, and capacity planning. - Familiarity with SAP PP reporting and analytics tools. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP PP production planning and control. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Process Industries. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
