Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. You will collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues, as well as provide support and guidance to junior developers. Your role will require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Analyze requirements and design software solutions. - Write code and conduct testing to ensure the quality of the application. - Provide support and guidance to junior developers. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. - Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition, Java Standard Edition. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with web application development using Java EE frameworks. - Knowledge of database concepts and SQL. - Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Spring Framework. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Understanding of software development best practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
