Project Role Description : Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.

Summary: As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. You will manage incidents with a focus on service restoration and act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents/requests. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration - Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents/requests - Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation - Ensure efficient deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications - Experience in cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks) - Scripting and monitoring automation execution - Solid grasp of incident management and service restoration - Knowledge of patch management and release implementation - Familiarity with compute, network, storage, security, and automation incidents/requests - Ability to provide solutions to problems for immediate and multiple teams Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration - This position is based at our Gurugram office - A 15 years full time education is required
