Summary: As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components, and testing efforts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and implementing data center solutions, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. With your expertise in Netapp Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administration, you will contribute to the success of our technology architecture projects. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and implement data center technology components. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements. - Conduct testing efforts to ensure the reliability and performance of the infrastructure. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data center technology components. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Manage and administer NetApp and Pure Storage systems including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades. 2. Monitor system performance and capacity to ensure optimal operation of storage resources. 3. Implement and maintain storage policies, procedures, and standards. 4. Diagnose and resolve storage-related issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. 5. Coordinate with vendors and support teams for problem resolution and escalation as necessary. 6. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for storage systems. 7. Optimize storage performance through tuning, capacity planning, and implementing best practices. 8. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in storage operations. 9. Ensure storage systems comply with security policies, standards, and regulations. 10. Implement and maintain access controls, encryption, and data protection mechanisms. 11. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to storage configurations, processes, and procedures. 12. Provide training and knowledge transfer to other team members and stakeholders. 13. Participate in storage infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and post-deployment support. 14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network, server, and application teams for integrated system solutions. 15. Deep understanding of NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage FlashArray, FlashBlade, and related technologies. 16. Strong knowledge of SAN/NAS protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB). 17. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure) is a plus. 18. Certifications such as NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), Pure Storage Certified Professional (PSCP), or equivalent. . Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Netapp Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administration. - This position is based in Gurugram. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
