Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. You will collaborate with team members, participate in discussions, and contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems. Your role will require independent work and active participation in team discussions, making you a subject matter expert in your field. Roles & Responsibilities: -Microsoft Data Services/ Azure Data FActory - Building and testing new/updated data flows and ensuring the data meets the business needs. - Developing data solutions, modernizing, consolidating, and coordinating business needs across several applications; - Implement best practices and tune code for optimisation. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and design solutions. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality of the application. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in the application. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. - Support and maintain existing applications by identifying and fixing defects. - Document technical specifications and user guides for reference. - Assist in the deployment and release of applications. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services. - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture. - Experience with designing and implementing scalable and reliable solutions on Microsoft Azure. - Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Storage. - Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C#. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. - Understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Data Services. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
