Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Purview to ensure the security of our organization's digital assets and mitigate potential risks. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess security risks. - Design and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. - Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards. - Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies. - Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents. - Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Purview. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Sentinel. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Experience with security assessment tools and techniques. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Purview. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
