Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems and resolving any technical glitches that may arise. Your expertise in ServiceNow IT Business Management will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Monitor and maintain the performance of critical business systems. - Identify and analyze software defects, providing timely resolutions. - Develop and implement effective solutions to enhance system functionality. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in ServiceNow IT Business Management. - Assist in the documentation of system processes and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Business Management. - Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices. - Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes. - Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices. - Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal development. - Recommendation: Familiarity with JavaScript and HTML for ServiceNow customization. - Recommendation: Knowledge of ServiceNow reporting and analytics. - Recommendation: Understanding of IT asset management and configuration management in ServiceNow. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Business Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
