Job Description

Project Role : Application Developer
Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Must have skills : Oracle PeopleSoft HCM
Good to have skills : PCS
Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed and customized according to the specific needs of the organization. This role requires expertise in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and a strong understanding of application development principles and practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance business processes and improve efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop and customize applications using Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. - Design and implement application features and enhancements. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and performance. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members. - Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with other systems. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in application development. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. - Experience in designing, building, and configuring applications. - Strong understanding of application development principles and practices. - Knowledge of database concepts and SQL. - Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
