Project Role : Performance Engineer
Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. Your role will involve five aspects of Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our systems and applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions. - Design and execute performance tests to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement. - Analyze test results and provide recommendations for optimizing system performance. - Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools. - Conduct performance tuning activities to enhance system performance. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in performance engineering. - Assist in capacity planning activities to ensure scalability and reliability of systems. - Monitor application performance in production environments and troubleshoot performance issues. - Work closely with development teams to optimize code and improve application performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and architecture. - Experience in performance testing and validation. - Knowledge of capacity planning principles and techniques. - Familiarity with application performance management tools and techniques. - Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve performance issues. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization. - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
