Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills : Red Hat OS Administration
Good to have skills : SUSE Linux Administration, AWS Administration

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing technical support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues reported by end-users. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex technical problems. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of issues. - Contribute to the improvement of system performance and stability. - Document and maintain knowledge base articles for future reference and training purposes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Red Hat OS Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SUSE Linux Administration, AWS Administration. - Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and Red Hat OS Administration. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a Linux environment. - Knowledge of shell scripting and automation tools for system administration. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM. - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Red Hat OS Administration. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
