Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working on application development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the applications meet the desired functionality and performance standards. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand application requirements. - Design, develop, and test Oracle PLSQL code to implement application functionalities. - Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure smooth operation. - Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance application development skills. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Applications Development. - Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of PLSQL code. - Knowledge of Oracle database architecture and data modeling. - Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years of full-time Engineering education is required.
