Summary: As an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications using Microsoft Azure Data Services. Your typical day will involve leading the effort to deliver high-quality applications, acting as the primary point of contact for the project team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications using Microsoft Azure Data Services. - Act as the primary point of contact for the project team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with existing systems. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Microsoft Azure Data Services, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Data Services. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform. - Experience in designing, building, and configuring applications using Microsoft Azure Data Services. - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles. - Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. "Senior Azure Data Engineer As a Senior Azure Data Engineer you will work in a scrum team focusing on the Global Data Platform (GDP). All data from the Rabobank will eventually be stored in the Azure Cloud. The Global Data Platform enables a governed data market place and offers products & services for Data Producer and Data Consumer teams. You will work in the Data Accelerator Framework team that creates, manages and maintains tools and templates to kickstart the development of the users of our platform. Initial offerings include a dummy test data generator and templates for mainly Azure Data Factory, DataBricks and Airflow. Your responsibilities will include the provisioning of templates, reusable code and blueprints on our Azure Cloud Platform together with the rest of the team. You will share your extensive data engineering knowledge with your colleagues and other teams. Since we provide tools and templates for other teams it requires investigation of the needs of these teams. The solutions created need to be usable, resilient, scalable and secure, and you think customer first. We participate in multi-disciplinary teams. This requires team work and clear communication to get the work done. Skills Need to have: • Technical skills: o Experience with designing and implementing a Data Lake o Experience in creating ETL/ELT pipelines o Experience with Azure, ADF, Databricks, Airflow and Data Modelling o Experience with infrastructure-as-code o Experience with pipelines-as-code Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Data Services. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
