Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the applications are designed to effectively support the organization's needs and processes. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and designing innovative solutions to enhance application functionality and user experience. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements. - Design and develop applications that meet the defined requirements and align with the organization's standards and best practices. - Create technical specifications and documentation for the developed applications. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines. - Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application design and development. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. - Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the team's skills and knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Kronos. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications using [PRIMARY SKILL]. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of UI/UX design principles. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Kronos. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A BE degree is required.
