Summary: As an Application Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements using Microsoft SQL Server. Your typical day will involve working with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and designing solutions to meet those requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design solutions using Microsoft SQL Server. - Develop and maintain database structures, stored procedures, and queries to support application development. - Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing techniques. - Design and develop scalable and efficient database solutions to meet business requirements. - Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on database-related issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database technologies such as Oracle or MySQL. - Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques. - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Experience with database security and access control. - Solid grasp of database backup and recovery procedures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
