Project Role : Application Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills : Splunk Administration

Educational Qualification : 15 Years of full time education
Role: Splunk Administrator / SW/Application Tech Support Practitioner Preferred certification: Splunk Administrator Certificate. Role Description: The Splunk Administrator ensures the timely and accurate execution of Splunk administration duties; deploys, manages, and troubleshoots complex Splunk Enterprise environments. Has understanding of Splunk best practices and deployment methodologies and accurately define issues and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge. Act as the ongoing interface between the internal teams and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Job Requirements: • Should have overall experience of 10 years of experience with minimum of 6 years in general infrastructure monitoring. • Good understanding of Splunk infrastructure monitoring apps, building data inputs and parsing rules. • Responsibilities include maintaining, deploying and testing Splunk apps, add-ons. • Should be able to deploy and enable tools, feature sets to enhance monitoring Integrate 3rd party tools with Splunk. Must have knowledge on: • Splunk Core deployment which includes Knowledge and experience in building and managing Splunk Search Head and Indexer Clusters. • Understanding of High-Availability deployment of Splunk Experience in deploying Apps and Add-on for Public Cloud and DC resources. • Very good understanding of data integration using XML, HEC and TCP, JDBC. • Should have working experience of SPL and building dashboards. • Knowledge about 3rd party Integration of Splunk with ITSM tool e.g. ServiceNow is an advantage. • Knowledge and experience creating automation scripts (i.e. Splunk Processing Language, Python) Good to Have: - Good understanding of AWS and Azure Public cloud services. - Experience with container technology Concepts – Docker, UCP or Kubernetes - Working knowledge of other Enterprise Monitoring tools like MicroFocus is a benefit. - Knowledge of Data Analytics concepts is beneficial but not essential. We could add if internal: Good to have: AAAM stack360 knowledge.
