Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the project requirements, designing and developing software solutions, and ensuring the applications meet quality standards and user expectations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development process, as well as providing technical support and guidance to other team members. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Design and develop software applications based on business requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software functionality and quality. - Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance software development efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS). - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications using Oracle technologies. - Knowledge of database concepts and SQL. - Familiarity with web development frameworks and technologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile software development methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS). - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years of full time education is required.
