.Roles & Responsibilities: - • Execute cloning / copying of environments as and when required • Perform data loads, data changes, and code / data migrations within the environments, in accordance with Change Control process • For in-scope applications, monitor integration / downstream extract functions and execute remediation for integration failures • For other application supported by the platform, monitor integration / downstream extract functions and coordinate executing remediation for integration failures • Manage maintenance schedule and execute maintenance activities for tenant owned activities, in accordance with the release plan • Perform user access and group access management activities, in accordance with user access and administration SOPs • Execute job monitoring and system performance monitoring activities across all environments • Administer system patches as requested • Perform In-Scope Application troubleshooting based on requests and resolve In-Scope Application issues • Provide support to Service Desk • Maintain policies and procedures, configuration specifications and In-Scope Application documentation • Provide system reporting as requested • Maintain User management and password expiry as per client policy • Perform version patching as per the client policy • Manage the backup and HA as per client availability. Professional & Technical Skills: Azure & On Prem MS SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for the management of production and non- production databases; database maintenance activities; troubleshooting database-related issues; monitoring of database capacity and performance; installation, administration, and configuration of database server/instances/databases. • Install/Configure/Setup/Administer and Maintain production and non-production environments. • Setup High-Availability and Disaster Recovery • Plan and test high availability and disaster recovery • Create Users and assign/manage permissions based on the level of access the user would need. • Resolve database integrity, performance, blocking, connectivity, and replication issues. • Detect and resolve database-related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other contention issues. • Perform and manage Database backup/recovery/restore and capacity monitoring. • Setup SQL agent jobs, elastic jobs and runbook automation. • Identify and set up alerts and logging in Azure. • Maintain databases – Statistics, Indexes, fragmentation. • Upgrade and maintain SQL Server and related software (apply patches and updates when necessary) • Coordinate removal and/or archiving of data that is no longer required to be available in the production databases. • Support production deployment activities. • Provide 24x7 support as necessary. • Conduct Performance tuning and optimization.
