Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Scala. Your typical day will involve working with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and developing scalable and efficient applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Scala code. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. - Develop and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Scala and related technologies. - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Scala and related technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scala. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java, SQL, and NoSQL databases. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and functional programming concepts. - Experience with web frameworks such as Play Framework and Akka HTTP. - Experience with build tools such as SBT and Maven. - Solid grasp of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, version control systems, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Scala. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient applications. - This position is based at our Pune office.
