Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working on the development and customization of SAP ABAP applications for HANA, ensuring they align with the needs of the business and meet high-quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement them effectively. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes and provide technical expertise to support project delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Design, develop, and customize SAP ABAP applications for HANA, ensuring they meet high-quality standards. - Perform unit testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve any issues or bugs. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability. - Participate in system integration testing and support the resolution of any defects or issues. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes and best practices. - Provide technical expertise and support to project teams throughout the development lifecycle. - Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP ABAP development for HANA and apply them to enhance application functionality and performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities for Cust Engagement. - Strong understanding of SAP ABAP development principles, concepts, and best practices. - Experience in designing and developing SAP ABAP applications using HANA as the underlying database. - Knowledge of SAP development tools and technologies, including ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, and Web Dynpro. - Familiarity with SAP development methodologies and frameworks, such as Agile and ASAP. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP ABAP applications for HANA. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex ABAP programs and resolve technical issues. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and understand business requirements. - Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years of full-time education is required.
