Summary: As an Application Lead for Custom Software Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications using Assembler programming language. Your typical day will involve leading the effort to deliver high-quality software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications using Assembler programming language. - Act as the primary point of contact for the project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects. - Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and test plans. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Assembler programming language. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with COBOL, Job Control Language (JCL), and IBM DB2. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. - Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA or Trello. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Assembler programming language. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. - This position is based at our Chennai office.
