Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve providing dynamic support and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for critical business systems, ensuring seamless operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues within multiple components of the systems. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles. - Participate in incident management and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing impact on business operations. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimization, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of support operations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Fluency in Spanish. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with COBOL. - Strong understanding of application support processes and methodologies. - Experience with incident management and problem management processes. - Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in application support. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering effective support solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
