Summary: As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support to clients and ensuring the smooth functioning of systems or applications. Your typical day will involve accurately defining client issues, interpreting and designing resolutions based on deep product knowledge, and utilizing exceptional communication skills to keep world-class systems running.Work with the AS400 admins to monitor AS400 environment and work on Incidents/SR’s and Change orders. Project Role: Cloud Operations Administrator Roles & Responsibilities: • Minimum 2-4 Years of experience supporting IBM i systems as administrator. • Hands-on experience with HMC. • Experience in AS400 monitoring, Communications, Operating System Monitoring , PTF deployment and backup monitoring. • Experience with BRMS Backup and restore process. • Provide ongoing support to clients, acting as the interface between the client and the system or application. • Accurately define client issues and interpret and design resolutions based on deep product knowledge. • Utilize exceptional communication skills to keep world-class systems running. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth functioning of systems or applications. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Cloud Infrastructure, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: • Must have skills : IBM AS /400 Administration. • Good to have skills : No Technology Specialization. • Educational Qualification: Any graduate • Experience with replication tool such as MIMIX and troubleshooting errors. • Has monitoring and troubleshooting experience. • Has experience with save and restore objects. • Good Communication skills. • Strong understanding of system or application support and maintenance. • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
