Job Description

Project Role : Application Developer
Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Must have skills : Informatica PowerCenter
Good to have skills : NA

Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Informatica PowerCenter. Your typical day will involve working with the development team, analyzing business requirements, and developing solutions to meet those requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. - Perform unit testing and support system testing and user acceptance testing. - Provide production support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 databases, Unix/Linux scripting, and scheduling tools like Autosys. - Experience in designing and developing ETL workflows, including data mapping, data transformation, and error handling. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL workflows. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality ETL solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
