Summary: As an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in SAP CO Management Accounting to ensure successful project delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP CO Management Accounting solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Lead the design and implementation of SAP CO module to support management accounting processes such as cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis. Define business requirements, solution architectures, and configuration settings to meet organizational needs. Configure SAP CO cost center accounting settings to track and analyze costs by cost center, cost element, and activity type. Establish cost center hierarchies, allocations, and planning/forecasting processes to facilitate cost control and decision-making. Ensure seamless integration between SAP CO and Financial Accounting (FI) modules for consistent financial reporting and reconciliation. Define mapping rules, reconciliation accounts, and cross-module processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy. Develop and customize SAP CO reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights into cost performance, profitability trends, and key financial metrics - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring successful project delivery. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP CO Management Accounting, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. - Perform system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and provide support during post-implementation phases. - Proactively identify and resolve issues related to SAP FI CO module, and provide ongoing support and maintenance. - Stay updated with the latest SAP FI CO trends, technologies, and updates, and assess their impact on the organization. - Mentor and coach junior consultants in the team, and contribute to their professional development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in SAP CO Management Accounting. Proficiency in SAP CO module functionalities including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis S/4 HANA implementation experience is required. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BW. SAP certification in CO is a plus. - Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. - Experience with project management methodologies and tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
