Summary: As the Team Leader for Exchange and Office 365, candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of administrators tasked with managing and administering Exchange and Office 365 environments. He will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of messaging and collaboration systems to meet the needs of organizations. Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead a team of administrators responsible for managing and administering Exchange Server and Office 365 environments, including mailbox management, distribution groups, security groups, and permissions. • Assign tasks and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks. • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and performance of Exchange and Office 365 services. • Plan and execute migration projects from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online, including mailbox migrations and configuration of hybrid environments. • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to Exchange and Office 365 administration and usage. • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new features of Exchange and Office 365 to recommend and implement improvements and enhancements. • Serve as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal impact on business operations. • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents and emergencies outside of normal business hours as required. Professional & Technical Skills: • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role. • Strong understanding of email protocols, email security concepts, and PowerShell scripting. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to end-users, including resolving escalated issues and troubleshooting technical problems. • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Microsoft Exchange with other systems and applications, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and third-party collaboration tools. • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new features of O365, evaluating their potential impact and contributing ideas for optimization. • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to O365 administration and collaboration technologies. • Development and maintenance of documentation, policies, and procedures related to O365 administration and usage. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
