Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the development team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. - Ensure the quality and timely delivery of applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with JavaScript, Spring Boot. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with web application development using Java EE frameworks. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
