Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions using Google BigQuery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, designing application architecture, coding and testing applications, and ensuring the software meets quality standards and project deadlines. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design, develop, and test software applications using Google BigQuery. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. - Design application architecture and develop efficient and scalable solutions. - Write clean and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and functionality. - Ensure software meets project deadlines and quality standards. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application issues. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Google BigQuery. - Assist in the documentation of software specifications and user manuals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery. - Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts. - Experience with data modeling and schema design. - Hands-on experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Knowledge of Python or Java programming languages. - Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Google BigQuery. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years or more of full-time education is required.
