Project Role : Application Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills : Atlassian Jira, Linux
Good to have skills : Atlassian Confluence, Application design, oracle
Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using Atlassian Jira. Your typical day will involve working with Linux and Atlassian Confluence to provide a dynamic service to ensure system stability and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities: •Experience between 4-6 years should be fine & someone who has zest to learn Atlassian Jira SME responsible for high availability and robust application design and implementation. •Need to have good troubleshooting skills towards application performance issue and automate underlying manual activities. •Good hands-on experience in writing yaml files for Gitlab projects. •Implement Application security best practices e.g. proxy setup for web tier using Apache. Professional & Technical Skills: Expertise for Atlassian applications e.g., Jira, Confluence and responsible for transforming legacy applications into highly robust and fault tolerant application. •Should have good hands-on experience in application performance tuning e.g. thread dump analysis, heap dump analysis •Strong understanding of Infrastructure – Servers, NAS Drives, GTM/LTM Load Balancing, DMZ Setups. •Strong knowledge in proxy setup for application web tier •Understands the DevOps process - Gitlab, nexus, build tools etc. •Strong knowledge in setting up DBaaS 18c/19c including schema creation, DB objects creation, tuning parameters etc. • Understanding of Jira upgrade process and its security implementation e.g. SSO setup, SAML 2.0 implementation • Installing and configuring SSL and server certificates for application Additional Information: - Regular shift
