Job Description

Project Role : Application Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills : IBM WebSphere MQ
Good to have skills : NA
Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve working with IBM WebSphere MQ and providing dynamic support to ensure smooth functioning of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for IBM WebSphere MQ and other related components of critical business systems. - Identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal downtime for the systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in IBM WebSphere MQ. - Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of other middleware technologies such as Apache Kafka, IBM Integration Bus, and IBM DataPower. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. - Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM WebSphere MQ. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering effective technical support. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
