Summary: QA Automation Lead with experience in test strategy, framework setup, script writing, JavaScript/TypeScript, using Cypress & WebDriver IO, API automation with Insomnia, CI/CD setup, defect management, and tools like Cypress, Lighthouse, Insomnia, X-Ray, Browserstack. As a Test Automation Lead, you will be responsible for leading the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies. Your typical day will involve leading the team, developing and implementing automation testing strategies, and ensuring the quality of the product. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the team in developing and implementing automation testing strategies. - Ensure the quality of the product by designing and executing test plans and test cases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and issues. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and other relevant tools and technologies. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Protractor, and Cypress. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Solid grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript and automation testing. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products. - This position is based at our Gurugram office.
