Summary: As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets using your expertise in Data Analytics. Your typical day will involve designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. You will create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. - Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. - Conduct detailed analysis of complex data sets, employing statistical methodologies and data munging techniques for actionable insights. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, applying expertise in diverse machine learning algorithms, including experience in implementing various algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms. - Communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders, utilizing data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI for clarity. General responsibilities: - IT / Data analysis and requirements definition - Responsible for designing data models and schema - Works closely with Data Strategy team to understand data requirements and translate them into a data model - Collaborates with IT teams to implement the data model in the organization's systems - Designs and manages data transformations and data pipelines - Develops, documents and maintains the data catalog and transformation rules Profile: - Expertise in capturing and documenting business requirements and converting these into the foundation for IT design and development - Clarify, document, and communicate functional and non-functional requirements by using data, process or information modelling, in order to drive delivery of change in alignment with the target picture and to enable sustainable solutions - As a technical mentor build and provide technical and business expertise for the development / purchase & configuration of software applications, decision proposals, or feasibility studies - Understand the structure, dynamics, terminology and IT applications of the international payment systems and work closely with stakeholders in business, IT and external partners on such topics - Able to work independently with defined problems on a highly-complex level within specific platform and competence area. - Ability to take partial responsibility for technically complex projects - Proven track record of performing analysis of potential solutions - Technical literacy, knowledge of relevant tools and technologies - Experience from the financial sector driving technical projects with many technical stakeholders - Preferable working experience within the areas of financial crime and/or transaction monitoring systems (AML) - Being able to explain and report technical complexity in a less technical language Skillset/Comment: - Able to drive and support requirements and design maturation - For initial stage (Task Force mode) able to mature the delivery into a business case / epic as well - potential proof of concept - Experience in Transaction Monitoring and associated case management is highly desirable - Experience from formulating user stories in Jira and Confluence is valuable Additional Information: - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru & Pune office. - Must have minimum 15 years of full time education. - Must have Good Communication skill.
