Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the applications are developed according to specifications and are aligned with the business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the requirements, designing and developing applications using Java Enterprise Edition, and testing and debugging the applications to ensure they meet the desired functionality and quality standards. Additionally, you will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development process, ensuring smooth application deployment and maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Design and develop applications using Java Enterprise Edition. - Collaborate with the team to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Test and debug applications to ensure they meet the desired functionality and quality standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development process. - Ensure smooth application deployment and maintenance. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application development. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Spring Boot. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience with web application development using frameworks like Spring MVC. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
