Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications. Your typical day will involve leading the effort to develop and maintain applications using Python and Microsoft SQL Server, along with collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. - Develop and maintain applications using Python and Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring successful project delivery. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in application development, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Python and Microsoft SQL Server. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - Must have: Python (Data Engineering) SQL Development using SQL Server Autosys Good to Have: R language/ R Studio Linux scripting Exposure to cloud/ AWS Use of CI/ CD - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language) and Data Engineering, along with experience in Microsoft SQL Server. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with R Programming. - Strong understanding of application development best practices and standards. - Experience with agile development methodologies and tools. - Solid grasp of software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Additional Information: - This position is based at our Pune office.
