Project Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.

Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: A: Ensure robust governance, appropriate senior management engagement, and the delivery of comprehensive risk management decisions in alignment with UBS's risk appetite and policy requirements. B: Run and preside over crew level Risk L2 committee meetings on tech risk portfolio and drive discussions on delivery prioritization and risk resolution. C: Engage with the delivery team and stakeholders (product management team, app delivery team, stream Risk COE team) to facilitate delivery on NFRI closure, audit items, EOL, NOPE, and other risk deliverables. D: Discover, assess, and report on new and existing risk matters from identification to closure. E: Conduct tech and cyber risk due diligence on the bank's third parties, including service suppliers and partners. F: Monitor risk landscapes and emerging threats in the application portfolio, gaining an understanding of evolving risks and new technologies in risk management. G: Lead and coordinate efforts across crew in preparation for and during all internal and external audits and inspections. H: Develop/maintain application team’s procedures, policies, and frameworks, and ensure their alignment with global enterprise-level requirements. Professional & Technical Skills: A: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a Business management-related area. B: 8+ years of work experience preferably in program and risk management C: Self-driven, independent mindset and motivated individual D: Strong stakeholder and communication skills – preparing status reports, working with numerous stakeholders inside and outside the crew in a conflict-free approach. E: Prior understanding of best practices, policies, and standards in tech and cyber risk management and data governance within the banking industry is preferred. F: Experience managing internal and external audits and regulatory engagement. G: Understanding of the software development process (SDLC, Agile, Sprint Planning, etc). Ability to work with software development teams and provide delivery and risk support. H: Familiarity with program management and reporting tools such as Gitlab EPICs and JIRAs
