Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Role: Oracle Database Administrator Roles & Responsibilities: • Provide Oracle Database Administration support and troubleshooting, including install Oracle software, patches and upgrades; manage and monitor tablespaces; experience in configuring Goldengate and troubleshoot issues. • Perform all related database functions, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. • Assist the Configuration Management Team with project migrations that require database objects to be built/rebuilt (Tables). • Configure and manage RMAN backup and recovery; performed database cloning and data refresh using export and import datapump backup. • Monitor database performance; performed data change requests, migration and rebuild for database maintenance. • Analyze capacity and growth of databases using various automated testing tools and performance optimization. • Monitor the performance of the application and the jobs at the database level. • Work with applications teams to provide ongoing performance support. Professional & Technical Skills: • Must Have Skills: Oracle 11g and 12c, Golden Gate, SQL Plus, ASM, Unix basic commands, ITIL certified, good communication skills. • Good To Have Skills: PostgreSQL or MYSQL. • Perform database cloning and data refresh using export and import data pump and RMAN. • Configure and manage physical and logical standby databases.
