What would you do? Performance & Advisory is our new multi-dimensional finance capability that opens boundless opportunities for our people and reflects the strong culture of shared success that we aim to build. The Performance component directly reflects that success is based on business outcomes achieved; while the Advisory component represents the expected contribution further along the value chain, with shared accountability for results. P&A professionals will be equal team members on the Finance teams to which they are assigned, sharing ownership of business outcomes. Functionally aligned. Directly assigned. Within Performance & Advisory we have six towers, collaborating as needed in order to achieve shared outcomes and shared success: - P&A Portfolio & Account Performance - P&A Forecasting & Planning - P&A Payroll and Cost Capability - P&A RDC This will be a special projects type of role intended to support the various modelling/analytics/data requests that we get through the Accenture CFO - Angie Park channel. They will be focused on providing context and insights on impacts from key corporate decisions or answering difficult questions that come from our ExCo. It will require knowledge of cross-functional data (finance, SE, HR) and they will be tasked with various ad hoc projects. Some will be short and finite in nature…others will be longer programs that we are running. By and large they will be ambiguous requests that we have not answered before, and we must develop new procedures or approaches to answering the question. This being a special project role, it will not have predefined responsibilities, here are below some examples • What will happen to revenue and bottom-line profit if we were to change loads for a certain group of people? • How is next fiscal year positioned compared to other fiscal years given the trend in Mega deals? • For people that are aligned and deployed to a Growth Engine, how much estimated revenue have they generated? • What are the considerations if we shifted to GILC $ variance to forecast vs. Ops Variance $ • How much backlog slippage do we have? Are we missing forecast because our backlog is slipping out more or because our wins are converting to revenue slower? • Do we have better delivered CCI on fixed fee deals or T&M? • Is the distance between when contracts sign and when we start the work and begin generating revenue lengthening? • Impacts to our business driven by higher % of framework deals and MSAs
What are we looking for? • Expertise in financial modeling and predictive analysis; ability to drive key business insights from complex data • Strong business acumen and understanding of the economics that drive our business with working knowledge of Accenture’s operating and economic models • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams as a coach/supervisor • Executive presentation skills with effective communication and business advisory skills • Proactive attitude and self-motivated; takes ownership of tasks and work efforts • Ability to be flexible and work independently and analytically in a problem-solving environment • Ability to proactively identify areas for analysis or requiring attention; ability to interpret and synthesize recommendations from the analysis escalating and/or involving all parties required to achieve resolution. Timely and accurate preparation of management information is required with limited supervision necessary • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with ability to work virtually and within virtual teams an essential requirement; confident dealing with finance and non-finance executives alike • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills • Knowledge of IFS, SAP BR, MMB, MMS, Accenture Economic and Operating Model, and Global standardized reporting • Advanced Excel skills. Proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook & MS Power Point • Fluent English Travel and Overtime Requirements: • Some overtime should be expected during critical peak periods • Ability to be flexible in a remote environment; may be required to attend conference calls out of normal working hours • Minimal travel may be required Basic Qualifications: • Education: Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting • Work Experience: 7 years+ professional experience in Finance
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems • May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside • Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
